Pastor Samuel Akokhia has been a member of the Nxtion Family for 10 years, after being introduced in October 2010, by his mother following his release from prison and was placed under the mentorship of Pastor Tobi, to deter him from the lifestyle of crime he had become accustomed to.
In May 2020, Pastor Sam was made Assistant Global Pastor of the Nxtion Family. Pastor Shadia, and Pastor Ebo then became the head of the Connect family.
Connect was founded by Pastor Shadia & Pastor Ebo Dougan in 2013 after Pastor Ebo lost his younger brother to knife crime. Originally called Ficos World, the platform was created to introduce an alternative lifestyle from violence, anger and retaliation in the Borough of Croydon.
What started as a hub gathering young people in their front room, grew to thousands of young people being affected by change through school programmes and community campaigns. To date, the Connect is made up of 65 core leaders who are continuing to grow and change the next generation of future leaders.
A number of projects have been created by the Connect family, including ‘CODE 57,’ which provides community engagement and investment opportunities in Ghana; ‘STEM Social’, which operates in Sierra Leone; and UK based initiative ‘New Gen Cypher.’ Businesses that have been birthed through the support and mentorship given by the Connect family include Nutrii Box, Thinkersworld, TSimone and Everyday Cosmeticss, to name a few.
The Connect family currently comprises six houses that have now become smaller hubs where young people can gather weekly to interact and watch services. A lot of other activities such as games nights, movie nights and one-to-one counselling also takes place across these houses.
Pastor Onyi Goldman-Nwike joined the Nxtion Family 7 years ago and has led the Pulse community since 2015. The Pulse Community is a family of entrepreneurial young people, making up qualified doctors, football managers, musicians, chefs to beauticians and more.
Pastor Onyi is also the founder of leading tech-based services company Knightshield, which he founded in 2019. Despite the pandemic, the company turned over its first million in early
2020 - just under a year after launching, and has since also added a number of multi-billion-pound firms to their roster of contracts.
The Pulse family is currently made up of 80 core soldiers. There are many successful businesses within the family, mostly birthed during the lockdown in 2020. Examples include K’cyrus, The Beauty Supply, Flakey Bakes, Zahair and many more.
As of December 2021, there are currently 5 houses in the Pulse Family which act as Economic Development Centres (EDCs). There were previously 8 EDCs in 2020, however some dissolved and in 2021, Pastor Kevin, was made a family head of a new family called Inspire, birthed through the Pulse Family.
Pastor Nikky Odutayo is the head and pioneer of the Elite family. A graduate of Psychology, she has used her tenacity and drive to promote the economic empowerment of young people. Following a battle with life-long hair loss condition, alopecia, and a series of suicide attempts, Pastor Nikky persevered until she found direction under the leadership of Pastor Tobi.
The story of the Elite family started 7 years ago in an inner-city London Borough, Islington. With the assistance of young leaders who are now family heads and Pastors of the church, then Minister Nikky opened up her parents' home to bring young people together. The goal, first and foremost, was to change lives.
The name ‘Elite’ represents a group thought to be the best and having the highest status. Since its inception, the family has reached thousands of young people, families, and single-parent homes.
Between January 2020 and January 2021 Elite had 980 new souls digitally and physically. Two of Elite's prominent in-house businesses are Scents by CM and Black Smith and Sons. Scents by CM currently boasts five scents in its product range with bestsellers ‘Party Time’ and ‘The Compendium’. Each scent is created with customers in mind. The blend of exquisite aromas helps alleviate stress and creates an environment to find inner quietness.
BlackSmith and Sons Director, Evangelist Rabby identified a perfect opportunity during the pandemic. With the country in lockdown and the beauty and services industry shut down, men's grooming became a challenge. The young men living with him were unable to attend their regular barber appointments, so he turned to YouTube to learn a new skill - barbering. Through watching clips on YouTube and practising on his housemates, he has been able to build a loyal clientele of over 100 customers.

The Wealth Family, formally known as COD (City of David) Family is a collection of young leaders dedicated to shaping their community and the lives of their peers. Birthed in 2018 and led by Pastor Onyeka Obi, the community group set out to tackle issues by working with businesses to empower the community, supporting social mobility and encouraging prosperity amongst young people. They held events that gave young people a platform to express themselves, and organised ‘Takeover’ events, that collectively saw thousands of young people fed all over the country.
The Wealth Family first began their work focusing on their local boroughs in South London. Every week, the group met and discussed ways to combat the issues within the local communities. These actions soon moved on to university campuses across the UK, where many Wealth members attended. This led to an expansion of the Wealth Family to eventually reach 5 additional locations; Kent, Leicester, Birmingham, Hertfordshire, Essex and Ireland.
Pastor Obi has led the COD Family to become one of the UK’s biggest networks for young people. The 28-year-old mentor and community leader has spearheaded the movement, leading 107 core members through mentorship, education and investment. Pastor Obi has continued to galvanise a change among young people, enabling the expansion of Family to reach other parts of the world - from London and the Midlands, to Ireland and the United States.

The family she has built alongside leadership aims to form the world's greatest financial hub for young people. With the in-demand movement having thousands of exceptional candidates constantly eager to join, the shared vision is to build a system which allows finances to be more accessible to millions of young people around the world.
Exposing young people to a new way of finance, banking and entrepreneurship will enable members to have a head-start into a new economy. The family group encourages this by supporting members to carry out exploits such as The Art Nation’s Artist Brunch, Law City events and Nutriibox enterprises. Similar exploits have been achieved by individual members of the family, through admissions into Russel Group Universities and internships with Oxford University.
The family is steadily increasing and celebrates the importance of newcomers through team building outings such as visiting amusement centres (Gravity) and Virtual Reality game locations. An HQ led by Pastor Aba has also been established as of December 2021 in Chelsea.

Each week, leaders, members and associates of gangs visited the fellowship weekly to listen to Pastor Kevin speak about his past, and how he was now transforming lives for the better.

Dr Emma joined the Nxtion Family in November 2016. At the time she was a junior doctor, just 15 months out of medical school. In a pursuit of a new place of worship, she saw a tweet advertising a Nxtion Family service and decided to attend. That first service was nothing like she expected, but for reasons unknown, she attended again and became a consistent member of Sunday and Thursday services, as well as Tulse Pulse House Fellowship on a Tuesday evening.
The leaders, Pastor Dr Emma and Pastor Dr Abraham were increasingly compelled to unite medics within the Nxtion Family as well as reach out to medics all over the world who needed to understand their vision of the future medic; that a healthcare professional can excel in their field, whilst having alternative means of income that create wealth, feel secure in their abilities and most importantly, love God.
The House’s live streams graduated from Periscope to Youtube, hosting fortnightly episodes featuring a variety of medics from all over the country; from doctors, to nurses, dentists to vets, pharmacists to nutritionists – tens of qualified healthcare professionals were featured on the platform. The live streams, coupled with a growing social media presence and evangelists of the House of Medics, grew the network to thousands of medics in the UK and beyond. The first Winter Ball in November 2021 at London Hilton Bankside. Soon after the Ball, the House of Medics travelled to Ghana to lead and co-ordinate health missions during the Christmas period. Over a period of two weeks, the team enriched the lives of thousands of Ghanaian adults and children through health screening events, children’s Christmas parties, donations and health education classes. This trip also established the House of Medics Ghana.
The House of Medics hosted their first Winter Ball on Saturday 27th November, bringing together various healthcare professionals under one roof to unite and socialise. Having recognised that despite working within healthcare, medics across different specialities do not have the opportunity to network and learn from their peers – therefore the Winter Ball is an annual black-tie event to bring these professionals together in a formal, yet relaxed environment.
The event consisted of key people who gave keynote speeches such as Dr Jude - a renowned orthopaedic surgeon, digital content creator and a health advocate; Dr Rhona – an award-winning young dentist, who was featured in Vogue, Tatler, Forbes and television channels such as ITV, BBC and Channel 5. The event was attended by over 120 people, including Pastor Tobi.
